I, personally, have had a fantastic summer and am sorry to see it end. Things I did this summer:
- Went to Emerald Isle, NC for the first time and LOVED it!
- Actually trimmed the hedges (you can ask my wife, that’s a big deal)
- Finished the final draft of my debut YA novel – MAIDEN. In the very near future will start querying agents (yikes)!!!

Favorite thing I did this summer was seeing the DaVinci Machines Exhibit in my home town. That guy was the epitomy of genius! I really wanted to buy my very own mini-catapult machine! Thanks for the giveaway!

My favorite thing this summer was going on a family vacation. 24 people on a Disney Cruise and then Disney World. Great times and lots of memories. 🙂
My favorite thing this summer was spending time with my 10 grandkids – doesn't get any better than that!

My favorite thing I did this summer was going to San Francisco to visit my relatives. I've never been to San Francisco before, so the trip was an amazing experience for me. Good food, nice people, and lovely weather- I could not ask for more.

I haven't done much this summer other than read and indulge in a little online shopping 🙂 Oh and a wedding! I went to a wedding and was the makeshift photographer. That was fun!

I got to go see my grandparents 😀
I went to a street fair in Providence, RI called Foo Fest and I was finally able to get a job after over a year of looking.
My favorite thing I did this summer was pick up reading again. I haven't been able to just sit and read in a long time. I is the most relaxing thing out there for me.
I went to Pacific Ocean, dream realized
My fave part of this summer was graduating and getting my doctorate degree…very nerdish, I know!! LOL
I make it a point to go island hopping and visit the best beaches our country has to offer. I did that and the experience was wonderful as ever! Clear water, white fine sand, great food, and happy people. I hope never to miss a trip like that every summer.

So cool. I went to France in the 8th grade and just remember it being amazingly beautiful!
Went to Myrtle Beach with my daughters and SIL for my youngest girl's graduation present.
Awesome – went to Myrtle Beach last year for the first time and really enjoyed it!
My favorite summer adventure….the Stamford Author Event
My favorite thing I did this summer was take my kids on their first Amtrak trip to Chicago. We've done planes, boats, etc., but this was their first train. They got cabs, water taxis, and much more while there. Great family time!
Nothing beats sitting on my front patio reading.
We went to the beach for 2 weeks
How fun. We've wanted to take our kids on a train, but haven't yet. Love Chicago!!!

I bought a house!
My favorite thing I did this summer was back to school shopping. LOl just kidding it was my sister's birthday. My family and hers spent the day at her sister-in-laws house, swimming and hiking. To top it all off I 9 year old and 7 year old learned how to ride their bikes.
My daughter's birthday party was a lot of fun!
